"MBA Symposium was such an amazing experience and a great time! PRO put together a fantastic event with some amazing guest speakers who shared a lot of valuable information and new strategies that will help us all in our communities with youth engagement. I took away so much from this event. To any future participants I strongly recommend attending this event and I would again in a heartbeat. The relationships and connections you get out of attending an event like this is extremely valuable and the information you take away is so important to your everyday work practices."

Jesse Cassista, Community Recreation Program Supervisor 4 CDSB Garrison Petawawa, Ops Svcs

"I was on the fence about attending this event as a provider in a small rural municipality that covers programming from 0 to 100 years. I feared that the focus would be on large urban centres and not relevant to the work we do in a rural setting. It was refreshing to see such a mix of participants from municipal recreation staff to the non- profit sector sharing stories with each other. It was immediately clear that youth are youth no matter where you go, and that while the provision of services may differ from place to place, young people will always want for a fun, safe and engaging space to call their own – and it doesn’t hurt to have food."

Caroline Schiavone, Community Recreation Coordinator, Town of Ramara
